We were a party of 6, so we had a good sampling of the menu. Everyone's dinner was enjoyable. Good quality, good portions, and nice presentation. Pleasant ambiance, but we found the place to be somewhat noisy.

What I had: 1. Biscuit (my rating: 5/5) - these are free and delicious! You need willpower to not eat too many of these so you can save room for your meal (seriously... I ended up eating only one-third of my main meal by the time I got it) 2. Calamari (my rating: 4/5) - these were okay. The sauce didn't sit right with me. Also, they sprinkled a little bit of parmesean cheese in one spot of the appetizer... 3. Salad (my rating: 5/5) - typical salad that came with my main dish, and I had it with honey mustard, which was really good 4. Prime rib (my rating: 5/5) - these are only sold on Fridays. This came in a huge portion and was really good too. The meat was very tender. The only thing was that by the time I got it, I was too full to even get halfway through it. 5. Tartufo (my rating: 4.5/5) - if you don't know what this is, it is an ice cream dessert that is wrapped in a chocolate shell. I thought the ice cream could have been better, but it was still good.

Let me start out by saying that the service was pretty good, better than good it was great. The food however it is mediocre, overpriced and not worth going back. My stomach is still hurting from the meatloaf that tasted sweet and the gravy was clumpy

We joined another couple for dinner this evening....from the valet parking (the lot is tiny) to the pleasant greeting to the friendly but impeccable service by Joyce to the beautifully prepared salmon (or in my case - the duck extra crisp with the glaze on the side) everthing was perfect...we will definitely go back.

The Grille has pretty standard lunch items. Grilled Chicken Sandwiches, Salmon, BLT, etc. The menu is slightly limited with maybe only like 20 options and it's usually very busy. The parking situation can get a little chaotic as their parking lot is quite small. So try to go a bit early. The very best part about the Grille is their Red Lobster Style cheesy biscuits they start you out with. Services was attentive and fast. Was in and out of there for a business lunch in right around an hour.

3.5 stars.... Good clean restaurant. Selection is good and turkey chili is amazing. We were there for lunch and the place was packed like they were giving food away. Service was slightly sub par. A great decent place for lunch. Took 1 whole star away because whoever was the older lady at the door (must be a part owner) was crass, rude, and acting like she was on a month long constipation run. I assume she was some sort of owner because no owner in their right mind would place someone so mean looking at the door to greet people.

Rice and veggies undercooked. Potato overcooked. Shrimp cooked properly, but both coconut crust and sauce cloyingly sweet. "Swordfish" cooked properly and enjoyable, however, texture, moisture, and taste strongly suggest it was not actually swordfish. Any other recent diners suspect that they were served mako shark? Owners/management please take note and manage your kitchen and your chef appropriately. I've managed and chef'd at three of my own restaurants over the years and know my seafood and the nature of the restaurant biz very well. Despite it being the best dish at the table, my experience was soured by the apparent subsitution. If I visit again, I will be asking to see the uncooked piece of fish before it hits the pan or grille and suggest that other diners who know what to look for do the same. Mako is a wonderful fish and there is no reason to mislabel it except for greed. I should mention that I have had the swordfish here twice before and was definitely served real swordfish on those occasions. Biscuits here are very good, but like much of the food here, they seem to rely on that old restaurant trick of adding sugar to everything. Personally, I enjoy a little sweetness and a balance of sweet/sour/bitter/salty/spicy/umami, but the consistent use of sugar throughout many dishes here is a bit overdone. Overall, they put forth a good effort but the sous chefs need to be beaten into shape a bit and monitored with a little more intense scrutiny and quality control on the line. The fact that the veggies and rice were not overcooked shows that there is some concern for getting things right, so just a bit more attention to detail could make for a great improvement.

Eat here often on my lunch break. Service is fast. The biscuits they bring out to every table are delicious. My favorite is the asian salmon.

Right about average. I've eaten here on a few occasions and know that I enjoyed my food each time, but can't really remember anything extraordinary about any of the experiences. Lunch consists of a pretty basic menu of salads, burgers, steaks, chicken sandwiches, pasta, etc. Nothing too creative, but all well-prepared and pretty decent. Pricing is about average to just slightly above average and the service is fine. A good place for a workday lunch with a relatively safe menu that is varied enough to have something for everyone in your group. Parking is a real pain, so be prepared for that.

I frequent the Grille on Congress at least once a week - if it is for taking a client or meeting a friend for lunch or enjoying their buy one get one free happy hour drinks and $5 appetizers. The owners are very involved with the restaurant and the staff always has smiles on their faces and I frequent the place so often they can read my mind on what I want to order. I love their pastas, burgers and salads. Often they will make a special for you even if its not on special that day. I would give the Grille a 5 star rating but every time I give a 5 star rating yelp takes my review down.

When I decide to eat at the restaurant most of the time it's only because I feel like devouring one of their insanely delicious biscuits. Oh my gosh they are GOOD. They are always right out of the oven and super crispy. I went on Saturday night and the service was slow. The restaurant wasn't even that crowded, which was the annoying part. I ordered the pistachio crusted snapper. It was OK, nothing to rave about. The concept was there, but they needed to season the fish better. I will go back, but most likely for a biscuit :).

Wow! If I was the owner/management I'd fire the crew, or teach them how to give customer service...!!! Everybody's food came out at different times - one even got served soo late after everybody was 'done' & then everybody started together their desserts...no refills, etc! AND service with a sh*tty attitude...yikes! It wasn't so much the food that left a bad taste in our mouths...!

A decent lunch option. If we were able to give 1/2 stars I'd give this a 2 1/2. Having gone to this place (many times by default) for years I can say the best thing is the biscuits they bring to the table. The salads, burgers and sesame crusted salmon are all good, but there is nothing GREAT about this place. The parking is horrendous. I don't know, this place should only be open for lunch because you have to be out of your mind to go here for dinner when you have so many better restaurants just a stones throw away.

The Grille on Congress, at least last night, was certainly catering to its clientèle, older folks from the Boca Raton area who are value oriented and are possibly a bit fussy. Complimentary valet parking greets you, but is not really necessary as my car was driven no more than 6 feet to an open spot. However, it's a nice touch. The restaurant has a bar area with three tv's (2 flat screens, 1 tube) and a pretty lighted wooded and fully stocked bar. The inner restaurant is framed by booths with table seating in the middle. They maximize their space and tables appear a bit cramped. The restaurant was packed and the majority of patrons were of retirement age. When seated, a server provides freshly baked buttermilk biscuits to the table which are piping hot and a real treat. The menu has something for everyone-fish, pasta, steaks, poultry (including duck and chicken) and barbecue. The choices can be daunting as there are many appetizing selections. Each entrée comes with a very basic salad, but is a nice, value oriented inclusion. The blue cheese dressing that I requested was delicious, as were the cherry tomatoes. Entrées also come with two side dishes, further making your dollar go farther here. While some restaurants strictly state "no substitutions", this policy seems not to apply to the Grille on Congress. In fact, our waitress was suggesting substitutions left and right and was more than willing to allow them. That kind of hospitality is appreciated, especially by some fussy folks and those trying to watch their diet. Portions however, are not for the diet conscious. I had a full rack of baby back ribs with baked sweet potato and onion strings. The ribs were tender with a nice sweet sauce, although I could have used a little more sauce towards the center of the rack. The onion strings were salty deliciousness and the sweet potato must have had some brown sugar in it because it was super sweet and candy-like. My fellow diners all seemed to enjoy their choices; a New York strip that look quite massive, pistachio crusted snapper in a banana curry, and rosemary chicken. I sampled the chicken, which is one half of a large bone-in bird, and it is flavorful with crisp skin. In sum, the food was good, and the prices are reasonable. The menu will please even the most fussy eater. There is a certain lack of refinement such as the cramped dining area and almost a rushed pace that prevents an additional star, but this restaurant is certainly worthy of 3 1/2 stars. It is a solid choice for a tasty meal and is a good value.

My first time at The Grille. I had the grille cobb salad. My friend had the grilled salmon over spinach and red onions. Looked pretty tasty!!! Both salads were huge. Non stop ice tea refills!!!! Great atmosphere!!!!

I am a fan of this place if I don't have to pay! Our waitress was very charming and hard working. She has a 3 month year old baby yet was working so hard and very dedicated. I got the chicken marsala which had delicious green beans and mashed potatoes. I tried some of my sister's pasta with vodaka sauce which was really good. THE PORTIONS ARE QUITE BIG!!! The best part is they bring free unlimited southern style fresh out of the oven biscuits...they were SO great! It was my Dad's birthday so I had the waitress bring over some cake with a candle and we started singing. I love the set up of the place with pictures all over. I'd say it was a great experience with some good quality and nicely plated foods. My Grandmother got a hamburger but found it very dry which was a disappointment. Not sure about this place for lunch, if it would be cheaper but I did enjoy it. Love the set up of the restaurant. Watch out for stray cats outside!

This place is good for happy hour or lunch but would not plan a dinner here. The menu is a bit overpriced for the quality of food. It is average. You will not leave saying I would love to come back but if you stick to the Happy Hour menu and get some half priced drinks you will be satisfied.

Great spot for business lunches- noise level and space at tables is adequate while the food is enjoyable and moderately priced. The biscuits they bring to the table are yummy and they have a nice variety of menu options for guests of all palates.

Exceptional, dependable quality and service. The dishes are prepared fresh to order, and served piping hot. the fresh biscuits are an added bonus, try not to eat too many, as they are very generous with making sure you have something to eat while seated! The private room is perfect for parties; my inlaws loved the party we hosted here, and the food was awesome. They just do it right, every time.

Un impressed. Food was ok, the crowd was typical boca on a saturday night. Noisy atmosphere. Left tip in cash - waitress followed us out the door wondering where her tip was and if we were un happy with the service. Really??? You didn't see the CASH tip in the jacket?? Come 'on. FAIL.

Decent little place, nice interior, but nothing special. Reminds me of a slightly higher-end Fridays. Had a strip steak, was good, but not great. Not really a place to drive miles for, but if you're in the area not a bad option. It does have Guinness on tap so that's a major plus for me. Wait-staff was friendly and was reasonably priced. Probably a place to visit if you live in the area.

The be and be seen place for professionals at lunchtime. This restaurant is so packed with business suits that you'll never get a parking space at noon. But if you do, it's worth it. Make sure you say yes to the complimentary biscuit fresh out of the oven. These are heavenly and you only need one. There is a nice selection of lunch items to suit a variety of tastes and they are reasonably priced for lunch on Yamato.

Seriously? With all the competitions going on in and around South Florida... You name your burger "Boca's Best Burger"... Well then, we have to try it! And we did. Best in Boca? No, sorry. Even though there may not be too much competition in Boca. It didn't crack the top of our list. However, I was impressed with the solid 10oz portion of ground chuck. Seasoned and open flame grilled very well. Nothing impressive. Just a solid burger. The bun was a giant soft potato roll which held the burger together very nicely. I don't know why you would add $1 for cheese (only 3 options: Cheddar, Swiss & Provolone). Seems like a typical Boca thing to do. Although, the place for lunch was slammed. It is right in the heart of the business district in East Boca off Yamato / 95, so that is to be expected. Burgers may not be their specialty but to advertise it as the "best"... Time to rethink your marketing.

Very nice restaurant. They serve hot biscuits with diiner that are constantly refilled. Our serve Joseph was excellent even though he was quite busy. The food was very good to excellent and the portion size was quite large. The price to value ratio here is above average for this type of restaurant. All in all this was a very good to excellent experience.

Decent Atmosphere 3.5 stars- Service 4 stars Food 1 star meat loaf--19 $-!!- lacked any flavor- color was a weird, dark- with non-descript thick brown sauce-smashed flavorless potatoes and plain green beans-- it was far far away from a 19 dollar meatloaf! 28$ ! Pistachio crusted Snapper with a banana curry sauce-- filet lacked flavor as if it was pre frozen-- sauce was a like a banana pudding gel like substance on dish GAG ,GAG! zero curry flavor-, served with frozen mushy sugar snap peas and those flavorless smashed potatoes Chicken marsala-23!$ looked good but again flavor of Marsala no existent- should have a nice reduction with a hint of Marsala sweetness- one of our friends could not even eat it-- same smashed potato and green beans all food was served on top of those potatoes- must have been a special on potatoes and green beans hahaha Dinners served with an iceberg lettuce salad- yes iceberg with just chopped tomatoes in it-- i had Asian peanut dressing- weird thick pudding like dressing- as if it was suppose to be heated up and mixed with a stirfry They definitely need a major food revision! and i can speak on that- i was chef/owner for 20 years of one of Rhode island most famous high end restaurants Mostly Old nicely dressed Jewish crowd-its not an overly dressy place but it gives them Old folks a chance to spiff up a little ! haha-- i am in late 50's and i felt like i was a kid in there- food seemed mostly like bought as pre maid and frozen products- - was like from a high end assistant living facility-

It's ok, nothing special. I had a meeting here and the other person picked this restaurant. The servings alone are on the small side. Had the Asian Salmon with veggies, again it was ok. The person right in the front wasn't real friendly. I don't think I will be back, there's lots of choices in the Boca area, restaurants that are really good, this one is just ok.

Ate there on a Friday night during the end of "season." 5:45 reservation was honored and we felt warmly welcomed. The ubiquitous biscuits were universally lauded, but sadly, NOT replaced when first devoured. However, I should have realized that the portions were going to be massive (not a flaw, but the waitress told us that we were not ordering too much, and we took home 3 LARGE remaining portions---this, the lack of biscuit replacement, the dishonor of our 2 requests for "dressing on the side" of salads, and the intensely rushed feeling for the clear purpose of turning tables, leads to my subtraction of a star on the basis of service deficiency): Creamed Tomato Bisque, unctuous, and full of well-seasoned flavor; "Flash" Fried Calamari (served within 5 minutes of the order, but likely frozen)---nice sauce, though; Seared Tuna Salad---LARGE portion of sushi grade tuna, beautifully coated with sesame seeds and cut wafer thin, on a bed of fresh greens, Rack and a half of ribs (HUGE, and good flavor, though the tenderness was clearly the result of boiling, not "low and slow" smoking (I found a LOT of excessively tender meat in Florida, presumably to accommodate the typical clientele) Chicken Romano, good enough for Grandma to want to take home---devoured later. All in all, a very good dinner.

This is definitely a favorite. Owners on site make a big difference. True happy hour drink prices in bar where prices are very reasonable to start with. And you get two! We frequently go on Friday nights when the have prime rib as a special. The portion is big enough for most to share, tender, flavorful, and delivered to me rare, and my wife, medium. Yes, warm fresh baked biscuits are terrific. I think the price is about 29. I'll be there tonight and update if needed. Entrees include salad, veggie and potatoes. No extra $ for sweet potatoes. The tuna is seared blackened if you like. Again, portions are large and reasonably priced. Diverse menu, wine list, reasonable prices, and not too loud. Always good service. I can't ask for more. Valet parking is free. If you don't want someone driving your car or trying to save on a tip there is plenty of parking a short walk evenings. Clientele is older Boca, with younger customers at the bar. Reservations are honored. I haven't done lunch but other yelpers seem pleased.

Last week we ate at the Grill. Both meals were mediocre at best, the duck was over cooked and the sauce was awful, my wife's dish had to be sent back, the tuna was cold and the sweet potato hard and cold. I called the following day to voice my displeasure giving my name and telephone number and was not extended the courtesy of a return call. In season find another restaurant that is less crowded where they appreciate your patronage.

We had a 5:45 reservation because they were totally booked for the evening. Our server Zachary was excellent. He was friendly, attentive, and when my friends dish was too rare, he immediately took it back to kitchen with apologies. The food was delicious and all four of us enjoyed our meals. The only problem we had was that we felt rushed. The food came out too fast. We were finished "dining" by 7 o'clock. That was the first time we ever experienced that feeling of being "rushed" at The Grill". It's alway been a favorite of ours. And we will definitely go back, especially for their "to die for" biscuits.

Solid Restaraunt and definitely worth coming back to. If we could provide additional points I d give this place a solid 3.5 Your choice of valet parking or not. Holiday week and the restaraunt was at 70% capacity warm greeting by the hostess. We were seated promptly at a big table. And immediately offered beverages. At the same time they served each person with a warm tasty biscuit. And the did that several times. The menu has a nice selection of fish, steaks, chicken, pasta and more. Only one special listed on the board Every ordered their own separate dish so lets run through them We began with the tomato and mozz. Three large pieces of fresh mozz and three thick pieces of fresh tomato served over a bed of lettuce with some dressing. Perfect. We devoured it and ordered a second dish, lol. We left no prisoners then we had our salads which were a good size plate of lettuce, cheery tomato and cucumbers. Dressing was served on the side As for the main dishes they all pretty respectable sizes. - grilled swordfish was extremely flavorful. Was most and tender. Just a little thin. Would have preferred a thicker piece but I'm not complaining. Served over rice and accompanied by string beans. Highly recommend it - rack of ribs. Also good. So big it hung over both sides of the plate. If ur not a big eater, share it. Served with the same sides. -Asian chicken breast. Definitely pass. A bit dry - pan seated sAlmon. Also very good with the. same sides - pork chops were okay. Same sides. We watched other tables presented with their good and next time i would try the chicke Romano which is chicken parm on top of pasta Looking at other tables I will say not many had left overs and most were members of the clean platter club That should say something. We skipped dessert as there was plenty on the plates to truly fill u up. The wait staff was good. Jokes around a bit and extremely accommodating for special needs or requests to swap out sides or have the dish prepared in a certain manner. The only recommendation would be to ascertain customer satisfaction a bit more frequently as well as fill the water cups more frequently as well.

Been here on numerous ocassions for business lunches. The place never dissapoints. It gets crowded for lunch but the waits are never really long. The food is fresh, and biscuits they pass out before you order are very good. Great place to eat and talk. Parking outside stinks, small lot shared with other businesses. Good choice if you're in the area. Prices are fair.

Decent spot for Happy Hour. Went here with 5 other co-workers and enjoyed 2 for 1 beers, $5 martinis, $5 glasses of wine, and $5 appetizers from their special Happy Hour menu. They give you a golf tee to redeem when it's time for your next beer. The place wasn't packed, which I like. Nothing's worse than not being able to sit down for 2 hours during Happy Hour and feeling like you're elbow to elbow with everyone. Most tables in the bar were full, the bar counter itself was full, but there was plenty of "breathing room". There was ample outside seating available as well, though it was still pretty warm outside to hang out there. If you're looking for an easy Happy Hour in Boca, check it out! P.S. (If you get on their email list, they will email you additional specials during Happy Hour, i.e. free appetizer.) UPDATE 6.29.11 I'm updating this review to a 3 rather than a 4. I visited The Grille today for lunch with co-workers, and ordered the Chicken Quesadilla with no chicken. Our server informed me that the quesadillas are not made fresh. They are pre-made and frozen, so they couldn't remove the chicken. My jaw dropped that a place like this wouldn't make fresh quesadillas on the grill! That's ghetto! There was no other option for a vegetarian other than one pasta dish or salad. I opted for the Cobb Salad with no meat, and it was HUGE. I will only return here for lunch if someone pulls my arm to go...or if I have a craving for their bread.

Decided to go here for lunch on Friday. It is across the street from work so that's a plus. Usually when I go I always get the Chicken sandwich with cheddar cheese but I decided to switch it up a bit and get a Roasted Chicken Quesadilla instead. I regret doing that. It was okay but I had no clue it would have onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms in it. Ew! I didn't want to be rude so I ate it. I know if I would of had the chicken sandwich I would of loved it. Anyways, the location is very nice. Not enough parking during lunch hours but this is where you will find all the professionals around Boca having lunch. As soon as you enter you are greeted and taken to a table right away. A server comes by to give you fresh biscuits. They are delicious. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. They have a full bar in the entrance and in the back you can actually see the kitchen area. Prices are reasonable and they have lunch specials too.

Great meal! They bring out hot biscuits to the table throughout the entire meal! So delicious and great options.

We were a party of 6, so we had a good sampling of the menu. Everyone's dinner was enjoyable. Good quality, good portions, and nice presentation. Pleasant ambiance, but we found the place to be somewhat noisy.
